Project Description
Brandon Arlington is CEO of CDB Group, a general contracting and development firm that is dedicated to researching new business practices and building methods while maintaining awareness of historical art and architecture. CDB’s projects range from residential units to commercial spaces to multi-use developments.
The legal needs for the construction, real estate, and development industry are complex and require developers and contractors to navigate a myriad of rules and regulations. From the launch of CDB, FLAS attorneys, led by Marcus Kocmur, have served as outside general counsel, helping Brandon and his team structure the business, acquire office and shop space, and obtain on-demand operational advice to help with insurance, contracts, and course-of-construction issues.
During the photoshoot, Marcus and Brandon were able to admire Brandon’s latest project, the completion of a triplex renovation in downtown Santa Barbara.
